Arctic Fox Hair Color to donate 100% of February 2020 sales to charities that help protect animals.
Arctic Fox Hair Color is giving back all February long!
Those of you who know and love us know that Arctic Fox has always been passionately dedicated to animal welfare. After the last few months watching helplessly as the Australian brushfires caused mass destruction and loss of wildlife, we increased our usual 15% of profits donation to 25% for the second half of January. This aid was supplied to WIRES Australian Wildlife Rescue Organisation and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). This month we had to do more.
For the entire month of February, we are donating 100% of all sales from direct online revenue to 4 charities focused on rescuing animals (3 in particular who are aiding rescue efforts in Australia). To encourage people to shop this month, we are covering the cost of all shipping on US orders.
The four charities selected that align with our brand’s mission to help animals in need are as follows:
Our first week’s online sales will continue to be provided to IFAW and their efforts in Australia. Their international programs deliver immediate and lasting impact for animals, people, and the beautiful place we call home. Each program is based in science, and include but are not limited to goals rooted in local communities, global-scale efforts, economically-viable options, and always long-term solutions.
The second week of February, Arctic Fox will donate their sales to Friends of the Australian Koala Foundation. This is the principal non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the effective management and conservation of the Koala and its habitat.
The following week, all sales will be provided to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s Global Recovery Fund. This organization is actively aiding the largest critical needs of the Australian bushfires, including to firefighters, residential help, the loss of houses, and the rapid depletion of biodiversity.
To round out the month, Arctic Fox will be donating to Animal Place to bring awareness to the fact that while the horrific fate of Australian animals is extremely heart-wrenching, there are millions of farm animals tortured and killed every day in the controversial meat industry. Animal Place is one of the largest farm animal rescues in the United States with a mission to provide sanctuary, education, and advocacy in protection against factory farming.
