Gratitude is more than a feeling - it’s a practice to cultivate in our lives. There is no one right way to do it but the important thing when practicing gratitude is to get into a place where we actually feel the feelings of appreciation. To say “I’m grateful for this” but not feel it down to your core won't have the same effect. Emotions are a key indicator of your vibration. When you’re vibing with gratitude you’re literally feeling gratitude (no matter what your words are saying). One of the traps that’s easy to fall into is to start feeling undervalued and unappreciated. I want to start by saying, you probably are undervalued. People probably don’t truly understand all that you are and all that you're worth. However, it is not their job to make you feel worthy - it is yours.
Knowing this, one of the ways to switch it up and shake yourself out of feeling like no one really appreciates you is to show someone else appreciation! WHAT YOU GIVE YOU GET hence WHAT YOU WANT YOU SHOULD GIVE. By this rule - the less appreciated you feel, the more you need gratitude in your life. So here are some ways to appreciate yourself and others this Gratitude season. Because no love is complete if it doesn't include yourself!
