Hairoscopes April 2020| Oh the places you won't go.
Text Version:
FESTIVAL SEASON IS CANCELLED
HERE’S FUN STUFF TO DO WHILE YOU AVOID PEOPLE
Red: Watch classic movies.
How many chances do you get to marathon the classics? Have you seen Breakfast at Tiffanys? Now is the time. Alternatively, just watch movies you never got a chance to see. If you’re a book person this also applies. Les miserable has a lot of french words but it's actually a really amazing book.
Pink: Learn Tik Tok Dances.
Renegade? Why didn’t ya say so? Look, these dances are hard if you’re not used to choreography. But we promise you’ll feel accomplished afterward. You don’t need to post it to nail the dance. Just knowing you did it is a victory! But if you want to post it - go right ahead!
Purple: Write a zombie apocalypse script.
Okay it doesn’t need to be about the apocalyps I just figured this moment in time would be great inspiration for that. If you don’t know how to write a movie script there’s a ton of information online to get you started. Besides… writing a movie? Who all can say they’ve done that.
Blue: Make Music!
Do you own an instrument? Bet you don’t have the time to slow down and play on your balcony that you wish you did. Now is your chance to play for the sake of playing. Be in the moment. If it leads to a new creation? All the better. Don’t play an instrument? Write some rap songs.
Yellow: Start a Face time workout, book club, happy hour etc.
In these times we should stay connected with our people. If you normally enjoy happy hour with friends and you’re feeling up to it… zoom/skype/facetime them for happy hour! face time your younger relatives too! They could be bored to tears without school and you can talk to them about volcanoes and math and feel like an absolute genius.
Green: Catch up on your household cleaning and organizing.
Go through those cabinets and closets! An organized house is just an evening in doors away. Bonus? You might find things to donate during this time. And let’s face it this is the perfect time to do that.
Black: Build a blanket fort
Whether you’re a seasoned vet or a newbie at building a blanket fort- its more about the process than the end result. Take all the blankets in the house and drape them over chairs to build your perfect movie-watching, book-reading or picnic-having fort. Or make the whole house a blanket fort.
Rainbow: Make a bucket list.
When we’re gone we don’t want to be left thinking about things we’ve left undone. Make a bucket-list of all the things you want to do before you die. Bonus points if you cross at least one of them off your list!
Orange: Make an end of the world playlist.
We all have the dream of creating the playlist with our all-time favorite songs from every decade. This is your moment! I made one and it was a GAME-changer. Especially rn where we might need a little extra motivation.
Silver: Cook something from scratch.
Have you ever made a pie crust? Yeah it’s a bit harder than I thought it would be but honestly… it was really fun. There could be that ONE thing someone you loved used to make in your family when you were little that you never learned how to make. This might be a chance for you to make your own version and carry on the tradition!
