Hey, Fox Fam! We’re a few months into 2019, and many of this year’s trendiest colors have been predicted by stylists and cosmetologists around the world! If you’re ready to become a trendsetter with a brand new shade, read on! We have some of our own predictions with Arctic Fox Hair Color suggestions and color mix recipes for you, so you’ll be turning heads all year long.
Luckily, our newest shade, Ritual, dropped just in time for you to grab this color while it’s hot. Or, if burgundy’s not your speed, try a vibrant mulberry instead using a mix of Purple Rain and Violet Dream! These jewel tones will turn out perfectly on a variety of base hair colors, but a level 5 or lighter will give you the most visible results.

Smoky Purple/Rose Gold
Pastels are a springtime staple, and smoky colors in particular are a fav this year! A smoky lavender combines the best of both worlds; get the look by using a base of Sterling with a few drops of Purple Rain mixed in, and apply over level 10 hair for the softest shade. Purple not your jam? Rose gold is another lovely light tone! Make your own by using a little bit of Electric Paradise and a little bit of Neon Moon added to a base of Arctic Mist diluter. These shades will turn out best on a lighter hair colors, but with a little extra Purple Rain or Electric Paradise respectively, they will still turn out great on a warm blonde base!

Living Coral/Hot Pink Red
As the Pantone 2019 Color of the Year, you can’t get much more on-trend than living coral! Mix Porange with a generous dollop of Electric Paradise for this iconic shade. Or if you need something a little more off the beaten path, set your own trend with a deep pink-red! Wrath and Virgin Pink mixed together work perfectly for a berry tone darker than hot pink that will be sure to make you stand out. Is it red? Is it pink? Why not both? Either of these warm colors will take well to hair in a medium blonde range or lighter.
Mint shades make the perfect transition from cool wintery tones to a lively spring green! Neverland applied to platinum level 10 hair will give you a gorgeous pastel mint. Or if you’re after something a little bolder, try teal instead! Iris Green and a dash of Aquamarine will give you a vibrant, summer-ready teal tone. This shade will be a little easier to achieve, turning out perfectly on a medium or light blonde base!
Natural Copper/True Orange
Coppery ginger hair is more “in” than ever, and we’ve had so many of you ask us how to get this alluring shade! For a vibrant yet natural redhead tone, start with a base of Cosmic Sunshine and add about a quarter-sized amount of Sunset Orange! Then, add just a drop at a time of Purple Rain until you’ve toned down the color to your liking. Or if you don’t want to get too close to a natural shade, try a vivid true orange by omitting the Purple Rain and mixing equal parts Cosmic Sunshine and Sunset Orange!
