I had silvery ends after using color oops, which was an oops on my part, but Frosé managed to cover it real nice without looking purple!
My hair was previously dyed rose gold (organic hair dye) after being bleached, but the color faded after 3 weeks (picture with red shirt). I mixed Virgin Pink (3 parts) with Frose (1 part) and used my own conditioner as a diluter. Because my hair wasn't super light, I figured the Frose pink would be more vibrant on my hair if I paired it with Virgin Pink. I used a hair dye applicator brush to apply the mixture evenly to sectioned parts of my hair. I then waited 1 hour with a bag around my hair. The resulting color was a fiery pink (picture with grey shirt), which was not my initial target color, but the color does fade a bit day by day, despite me only washing my hair once a week. At the end of four weeks, my hair has only faint traces of pink (picture with white shirt). Overall, the 1st & 2nd week is a fiery pink and the 3rd & 4th week is a pretty rose gold/light pink. I like how the dyes are really conditioning and I like mixing a bit of Virgin Pink or Frose dye with my conditioner when I wash my hair to refresh the color a bit. This dye helped me achieve my rose gold/light pink hair again and I don't mind having hot pink hair for two weeks and then light pink hair for the remaining two weeks (it's kind of fun seeing my hair change each week). If you want an even lighter color when dying your hair, you could dilute the mix even further with conditioner/diluter until the mixture is more of a light pink than hot pink!
I have been sticking to purples, but decided to give Frosé a chance because it looks so pretty in pictures.
I like the result, though I wish the coverage was more uniform (I'm guessing that has something to do with the porosity of my hair? ).
My hair is at a level 8/9, with about a 2cm dark root. I used the whole (8oz) bottle and probably could have used more - I generally do the root half first, then pull into the ends and my colour is definitely brightest at the roots! Next time, I will paint every section with a balayage board, root-to-tip and see if that gives better coverage. 👌
In the end, I definitely got both pastel pink and rose gold sections and have had a ton of compliments, so it's a 👍💥!
I have bleached asian hair (dark and thick), so I wasn't sure if it will work. But it took to my bleached parts really well. Not sure if I could or not but I took a chance and added it to my conditioner and it worked beautifully! I got so many compliments on it. It was subtle but noticeably pastel pink.
i am very satisfied .. great color ... i mix it with virgin pink .. just great
